Horse Arenas The Pima County Fairgrounds can accommodate large and diverse horse shows. Maintenance, bathroom facilities, horse show office, drags and arena watering are included in arena rentals. *Additional charges may apply. 520-762-9100 x16
Every arena has all weather footing. With the exception of the rodeo arenas, footing consists of topsoil and sand mix. The footing specialist is available to accommodate most riding styles.
Indoor Arena: The arena is 105ft x 240ft. with bleacher seating for approximately 250 spectators. Footing consists of topsoil and sand to accommodate any style of riding. Building has evaporative cooling, P.A., climate controlled announcer booth, two show offices, bathrooms and showers. There are 137 stalls on the south side of the arena, which are constructed of pipe framing, plywood panels and double doors with chain link along the top. The North side of the arena has 172 stalls of similar construction enclosed in the barn with electric, water and evaporative cooling, skylights, overhead lighting and public address system. Rental Fee: $600.00 per day. $800.00 per day when rented along with the Ramada at the same time.*
Manny’s Arena: This rodeo arena is 170 ft x 237 ft. and is complete with bucking chutes, holding pens, warm up arena, lights, announcer stand and P.A. Bleacher seating can accommodate approximately 250 spectators. Rental fee: $500.00 per day
North Arenas: There are three arenas, North of the main barn with topsoil and sand mix footing which can be worked to accommodate any style of riding. Arena 1: 135ft x 280 ft Arena 2: 120ft x 260 ftArena 3: 140 ft x 235ft Rental Fee: $250.00 per day
Ramada: This covered arena is 116ft x 200 ft. Footing is a mix of topsoil and sand. Each side of the arena has large covered area for portable stalls, exhibitors and/or staging. Rental fee: $600.00 per day and $800.00 per day when rented along with the Indoor Arena at the same time.*
