Pima County Fair - A Fair of
Character
2009 Campground Rules
As
a courtesy to 4-H/FFA and Open Division families, the Pima County Fair is
pleased to provide the camp grounds as a low cost lodging alternative to late
night travel to and from home or to more costly motels. It is also a privilege
to camp at the Fair. Any individual or family violating these rules may be
expelled from the camp ground for the 2009 Fair and/or future Pima County
Fairs. These rules will be enforced by the Southwestern Fair Commission, its
agents and employees. The rules apply to parents, exhibitors and 4-H/FFA &
Open members.
1. All campers are expected to exhibit the six pillars of character of Character Counts! These are Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. The campgrounds are relatively small and crowded. Everyone must work together to make this a positive experience for all.
2. Exhibitors must have a parent or legal guardian in residence at the camp space all night. All Exhibitors are to be at their camp space by midnight without exception.
3. ALCOHOL may not be brought onto the fairgrounds and IS NOT permitted in the campground area.
4. UTILITIES are limited and air conditioners, heaters and other high electric use items may only be run off of your RV generator subject to generator operating hours.
5. Camping must be in designated areas only. Camping must be in recognized camping facilities; i.e., tent, motor home, camp trailer, etc. No camping will be allowed in vehicles or stock trailers. No generator use between 10 pm and 6am.
6. All campers are responsible for keeping the camp grounds clean. Keep your camp space clean and the public area around your space neat.
7. Noise curfew in the campgrounds is 10:00
p.m. 4-H/FFA and Open Member Curfew is 12 midnight.
8. NO open fires (including hibachi, barbeque grills, and other containers). Gas propane grills are allowed.
9. All drains must have a bucket for overflow. No dumping your gray water in the campground.
10. Unlicensed drivers are not permitted to operate any motorized vehicles on the Pima County Fairgrounds.
11. No ATV’s, motorcycles, golf carts,
scooters or bicycles will be allowed on the
12. NO VEHICLES IN THE CAMPGROUND. Unattended vehicles in the campgrounds will be towed at the owner’s expense. Use the designated parking lot.
13. CHECK-IN AFTER APRIL 19, 2009, IS AFTER 6:00 p.m.
All
campers agree to these rules upon application for a camp space for the Pima
County Fair. Violations of these rules may result in expulsion from the Pima
County Fair Grounds. The above rules are approved by the Southwestern Fair
Commission, Inc.
