OWNERSHIP DEADLINE:

 January 15, 2009, except newborn kids.  Kids must be born by March 16, 2009.  The kids must be registered with the Project Coordinator by March 23, 2009.

BREEDING DOE/KID ENTRY DEADLINE:

January 15, 2009, note pregnant does on 4-H registration forms.

Friday, April 17, 2009.  9:00 am

TAKE PRIDE IN YOUR PROJECT.  PLEASE CLEAN UP THE BLEACHER AREA AFTER YOUR SHOW.

SPECIAL RULES:

A.  This show is sanctioned by the United States Boer

Goat Association. 

B. All registration papers and/or stamped duplicates must be checked in with the Project Coordinator or Superintendent on Thursday, April 16, 2009 between 4:00 and 8:00 pm.

C.  Tattoos on each animal must match those on the papers and they must be legible.         

D.  All animals must be registered in the exhibitors name or have a lease paper on file with the Project Coordinator. 

E.   Any kid born after the ownership deadline must be the offspring of a doe recorded as a 4-H or FFA members project and must be in that exhibitor’s name.

F.   All kids born after the ownership deadline must be tattooed and registered with the Project Coordinator by March 23, 2009.

G.   No bucks will be shown.  Only those under three months of age will be allowed to be penned.  Exhibitors will not be given extra pens for wethers or baby bucks.

H.   Does over 24 months that have never freshened will be limited to showmanship only.

I.   See Project Coordinator for pen assignments.

J.   Dress Code:  Black pants white or green shirt.

 

At the time of arrival at the livestock Barn, if the animal is deemed of questionable health, the on-call veterinarian will be requested to make the final decision as to whether or not the animal in question shall be removed from the fairgrounds or allowed to remain and participate in the show.
