HEALTH RULES:
It is the
responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain and possess health certificates and
documentation required by the state of origin.
Goats showing visible signs of illness, disease or external parasites
will be asked to remove the animal as determined by the show officials, barn
manager and the veterinarian.
GENERAL RULES:
A. The breed Standards of USBGA and all other
USBGA show rules herein specified will be observed and upheld at this
show. The Official USBGA scorecard will
be used to judge classes.
B. Goats registered with any recognized Boer
Goat Association shall be accepted. Base
date will be the date of the show. If an
animal wins an Official Grand Champion title as a USBGA Show that is not
registered with the USBGA it may receive a complimentary registration
paper. The owner must notify the USBGA
office within 15 days of the win. They
will receive a registration paper, with the official win noted on the paper
along with a champion seal. They must
provide a copy of the original certificate (front and back) with information
regarding the name of the judge, location and date of the show.
C. An original registration certificate is
required of all animals 6 months and older that are entered in the show. A stamped duplicate of a faxed registration
application showing the date of receipt by any recognized Boer Goat Association
office will be accepted on arrivals under 6 months of age.
D. Proof of ownership shall be the name of
registration certificate. Persons
showing animals with signed transfers on the registration certificate must show
these animals as agent for the winner listed.
E. All animals must have a legible tattoo that
matches the registration papers and all animals entered are subject to having
tattoos and papers checked by show officials at any time. Any animals winning Grand Champion will be
checked and must have a Legible Tattoo that matches the registration
certificate or it will forfeit all awards.
The judge will then select another animal for Grand Champion. The above rule will also apply to the
selection of Reserve.
F. The judge’s decision will be final. No protest will be allowed. No reversal of decisions will be considered
unless the Official Shows and Judges Committee determines there was a violation
of Official USBGA Judging Of Show Rules. NO
animals will be resented to a judge
that has been purchased from that judge within 90 days according to Official
USBGA Show Rules.
G. No
Dogs or Other Animals not entered in the show will be allowed on the grounds
