Will be available for exhibitors and their immediate family members. The cost is $10.00 ages 11 & up. $3.00 for ages 6 – 10. Children 5 & under free. Purchase your passes on your entry form. Pick up passes when you check in your birds.

2. Entries will be in singles or trios.
Trio-one (1) male, two (2) females. Single birds cannot compete for trio awards. All birds are eligible for awards.

4. In all cases, management reserves the right to reject entirely or accept conditionally any entry. Any bird that is unsightly or shows symptoms of disease or parasites will be removed from the show area and entry fee will be forfeited.
5. Entry fee will be forfeited if the bird is absent, ineligible or disqualified.
6. The show management will not beresponsible for any damage or death intransit or during the show. Every precautionwill be taken to insure against such hazards.
7. All eggs laid during show are the property of the Pima County Fair and will be removed by the poultry department personnel.
8. The poultry department personnel will be responsible for the feeding and watering of entries. Feed will be provided by the poultry show. Arrangements for exhibits requiring special feed must be made with the superintendent prior to the acceptance of the entry.
9. Absolutely no individualization of cages will be permitted.
10. Exhibits not picked up by 8:00 pm Sunday, April 19, 2009 will be disposed of at the discretion of the superintendent.

CHICKEN: Cock (C), Hen (H), Cockerel (Ckl), Pullet (P)
DUCK: Old Drake (ODR), Old Duck (ODK), Young Drake (YDR), Young Duck (YDK)

AGE: Old male and female hatched prior to Jan. 1, 2009.

13. All judging will be by comparison. The show rules of the American Poultry Association (APA) and the American Bantam Association (ABA) will apply. The American Standard of Perfection and the Bantam Standard of Perfection will serve as the official references.

Ten or more birds in a class doubles the premium paid. Definition of Class: Same Breed, Variety, Sex and Age.

Will be awarded for all placing entries (1st – 3rd).
Rosettes will be awarded in classes with fourteen (14) or more birds.
Will be awarded if six or more birds are shown in a breed and pays $2.00. In addition to the above, the following will be awarded:

REMINDER
Release time 6:00 pm Sunday, April 19, 2009. All birds MUST
be out of the barn by 7:00 pm. Pima County Fair will not be responsible for
birds left after this time. THE BARN
WILL BE SPRAYED IMMEDIATELY AFTER RELEASE TIME; THE SPRAY CAN KILL THE BIRDS.
Release slips will be available from the show Superintendent and are required
to remove birds.
