WORLD
VISION EXPERIENCE: AIDS
The Pima County Fair is pleased to announce the
interactive and national touring,
“World Vision Experience: AIDS” exhibit, which
will be on display at the Pima County Fair, April 16 – 26, 2009.
The walk thru exhibit helps raise awareness about the effects of the
AIDS pandemic on children in developing countries, specifically
Africa. The exhibit is appropriate for ages 10 and up, however
parents are encouraged to use their own discretion. Details of the
exhibit can be downloaded at www.worldvisionexperience.org
The Pima
County Fair normally hosts educational exhibits. Increasingly over
the past few years, the Pima County Fair provided exhibits and
activities that focused on human rights and humanitarian issues.
Some of which have included Holocaust memorial exhibits, Save
Darfur, tributes to American prisoners of war and victims of 911,
along with a single day event, “Raise Your Voice” to bring awareness
about the murderous violence being committed against young girls and
women in the border town of Juarez, MX.
The Pima County Fair draws nearly 240,000
visitors with a month long advertising campaign; both of which serve
as an excellent platform to raise awareness and give voice to the
suffering of others. With the help of our partner, World Vision and
through the grass roots efforts of the local faith based community,
we believe lives and hearts will be touched by visiting this exhibit
at the Pima County Fair, April 16 – 26th.
